		Links, links, links:
This following section contains lots of (more or less) subject-orientated links to pages that I came across while doing research for my presentation. I will add short comments to every link in order to give you an impression what expects you "behind" each one. My personal favourites are marked with little stars ( * = worth a visit, * * = heavily recommended, * * * = a must-see).
Australia in general This beginners guide to Australia contains basic information, a list of "some famous Aussies" and quite a number of links. A very informative place to start if you have never heard about Australia before.* * Lonelyplanet's interactive map of Australia is a very cool site to zoom in and out. One of the places on the web that I like best - go bookmark it now! * * * About Australia ! Maybe the only link to deserve this name. There is hardly anything about the Fifth Continent you won`t find here. * * * Charles Sturt University, 1995-98: About Australia Koala-guided list of links, very big and very very useful. * * * Click this one for a list of some 300 links to sports, finance & real estate or media sites Down Under. * * Australia Online: claims to be the Australian Magazine on the Internet. Includes high quality photo gallery. * * Telstra SpringBoard: About Australia Links related to subjects like government, environment, political parties, political commentary & research, Australian information resources and maps/flags/holidays. * * Australian Surveying and Land Information Group: I could not find any larger map of the Fifth Continent on the web (202K). Eldorado for geologists and geographers. * * Australian Bureau of Statistics is Australia's official statistical organisation. Something for freaks: Virtually every Oz-figure you want. *
